Alien Heroes is a unique game where all of the symbols are scatters, meaning that there are no paylines. Wins are awarded by landing at least five of the same symbol anywhere on the reels. Landing eight of the same symbol will trigger the free games feature. During the base game, stars randomly land on top of the symbols and move over into one of three containers located to the right of the reels. Collecting three stars in a container will activate a hero feature on the next spin, giving the player a better chance of landing the eight symbols needed to trigger the free games.

Azure Dragon and its sister title, Emerald Guardian, feature four progressive free games meters—mega, maxi, minor and mini. The number of free games increases whenever one of the corresponding free games symbols lands in the fourth reel. These aren’t must-hit-bys, so it is completely random when the free games actually hit.

Big Ocean Jackpots features bubbles with jackpot prizes (mini, minor and maxi) and wild symbols. The bubbles move up one position on every spin. If one of the jackpot bubbles lands on top of a coin symbol, the player is awarded that prize. If one of the wild bubbles lands on top of a coin symbol, all of the poker symbols (purple spade, green club, red heart and yellow diamond) will also turn wild. If two wild bubbles land on top of coins, all wild wins will get a 2x multiplier.

Bonus Builder features three bonuses—red, blue and purple. When a clover symbol lands on a reel, it has a chance of either triggering the bonus of the corresponding color or else building up one of the features in that bonus. Each bonus includes expanded reels that increase the ways to win, an increasing number of free spins and the removal of lower paying symbols.

In Buffalo Ascension, the three middle reels expand in height whenever an arrow symbol lands. The reels begin at four symbols tall and can reach a maximum height of seven symbols. When an arrow symbol lands on a reel that is seven symbols tall, the prize above that reel is triggered. The prizes are either free games, stampede (which changes all occurrences of one or more symbols into buffalo symbols for a single spin) or super stampede (which changes all occurrences of three or more symbols into buffalo symbols for a single spin).

Buffalo Link has a bonus feature that is triggered by accumulating buffalo heads. The buffalo head counter begins at 100 and the feature must hit before 1800.

Bustin’ Money features three free games features—a red safe with an increasing number of free games, a green safe with increasing ways and a blue safe with an increasing multiplier. When a Bustin’ Money symbol lands on a reel, it will move up to a random safe above and either increase the value on the safe, open the safe (thus triggering the corresponding free games feature) or else do nothing. The safes can be triggered individually or in any combination, with all three triggering at the same time being the best possible outcome. The safes grow fatter as the features build up, but a fatter safe is not any more likely to trigger.

Captain Riches and its companion, Tiki Fortune, feature coin holders above reels two, three and four. When three coins are collected to fill the coin holder above the reel, that reel will turn wild for the next three spins (until the three coins are gone). This game is a borderline AP trap, so be sure to understand how the game really works before playing.

Cash Cano features four rows above the reels (minor, maxi, major and grand) that hold gems with credit prizes on them. Triggering the Cash Cano feature by landing one or more gem symbols in each of the three middle reels will give the player a chance to win the gem prizes and jackpots in the rows above. During the feature, if three gems are collected in a row, the associated jackpot (displayed to the right of the row) will be awarded if that row becomes unlocked. Rows become unlocked by landing additional gem symbols during a hold & spin feature that resets to three spins every time another gem symbol lands.

Cash Falls features coins with credit prizes that land in the reels. When a coin lands, a counter with three spins will appear on the bottom of the reel. Every time a new coin lands in that reel, the spin counter gets reset to three. If the entire reel gets filled with coins before the spin counter reaches zero, the player is awarded all of the credit prizes in that reel.

Crackin’ Cash features three balloons above each reel. There are purple balloons (containing small credit prizes), green balloons (containing larger credit prizes) and jackpot balloons (which randomly award the mini, minor, maxi, major or grand jackpots). When a balloon lands on a reel, it will float up, pushing the balloons above up one position, with the top balloon moving off the screen. Landing a single rocket symbol on a reel will randomly award one of the three balloons above, while landing a triple rocket symbol will award all three of the balloons above.

In Dancing Drums: Golden Drums, landing a drum symbol with “+1” on it increments the multiplier displayed above the first reel (and directly on the bet pad). If a drum symbol (or a wild symbol, which counts as a drum symbol) lands in each of the first two reels, the Golden Respin feature is triggered.

During the Golden Respin feature, reels three, four and five randomly expand in height by up to three rows. If a drum symbol (or wild symbol) with a credit prize on it lands in a reel, that reel will lock in place and the other reels without credit prizes will spin again. All credit prizes get awarded at the end of the feature, and the credit prizes on the glowing green drums get multiplied by the multiplier. If no glowing green drums land, the multiplier will persist until the next Golden Respin feature. Otherwise, it will get reset back to x2.

The above probably sounds confusing, but you will quickly get the hang of it once you start playing.

Diamond Collector features a free spins bonus that gets triggered once 15 diamonds are collected.

Diamonds & Devils Deluxe and its companion, Jade Monkey Deluxe, feature prizes above each reel that are awarded when three diamonds are collected. The prizes build up as credit values and free games symbols land on the reels. The twist is that landing a devil/jade monkey symbol will remove one of the collected diamonds. And if there are no diamonds remaining, landing another devil/jade monkey symbol will reset the reel, removing all accrued credits and free games.

Dragon Spin CrossLink features five bags that slowly fill in with gold when gold medallion symbols land in the corresponding reels below. Any time a gold medallion symbol lands, it may randomly trigger the Dragon Spin feature. During the Dragon Spin feature, bags that contain more gold add larger credit prizes to the reels below.

Dragon Unleashed features orbs with credit prizes on them that land on the reels and shift down one position every spin. Landing six orbs will trigger a hold & spin feature. The orbs can land in any position on the reels, but they often first land in the top row and then shift down in a connected stack up to four tall.

Frankenstein features an array of prizes above the reels—jackpot prizes with orange flames (grand, super, major, maxi, minor and mini) and credit prizes with blue electricity. The prizes get random multipliers added to them whenever a Power Up symbol lands in the first reel. Landing an It’s Alive symbol in the first reel, combined with at least one Frankenstein head symbol in reels two through five, triggers the It’s Alive feature. During the It’s Alive feature, each Frankenstein head that landed shoots up electricity to a random prize above the reels, awarding the player that prize along with any multipliers attached to it. After the feature is completed, the multipliers are removed and two or three new multipliers are added randomly to the prizes (excluding the three smallest blue prizes).

Fu Dai Lian Lian: Boost Peacock / Boost Tiger features three bags that fill with coins. The bags grow in size as coins are collected on the reels that correspond with the color of the bag. Eventually, jewels will appear and the bag will begin to glow. When a bag has jewels in it, the bonus associated with that bag will be “boosted” with enhanced features. Having fuller bags does not mean the bonus is any closer to hitting. The jewels just mean that the bonus will be better when it does hit.

Golden Beasts and its companion, Golden Elements, have a must-hit-by super spin feature that triggers before 180 special symbols are collected.

Golden Egypt Grand features coin holders above each reel. When a coin holder is filled, that reel will turn wild for the next two, three or four spins (depending on the number of coins in the holder).

Golden Jungle Grand operates on a ten game cycle in which buddha symbols are collected above each reel. After the tenth spin, the reels with two buddha symbols will turn wild.

In Grand Buddha Link and its companion, Grand Cat Link, whenever a player gets a line hit, the symbols involved in that line hit turn into multipliers that stick around for eight spins. The right side multipliers are all 3x, while the left side multipliers are 8x, 6x and 5x. The multipliers are triggered when a line hit matches the associated symbol on the multiplier.

Hyper Orbs features a free spins bonus that gets triggered once 15 orbs are collected.

Jackpot Catcher features glowing rings that lock on the reels for three spins. If a credit value symbol lands within a glowing ring, the player wins that amount. Each glowing ring contains three internal segments that indicate how many spins are left before it disappears.

Jewel Collection features four meters (amethyst, sapphire, emerald and ruby) that accrue five extra wilds whenever a jewel symbol of the corresponding color lands on the reels. The amethyst wilds are triggered randomly (similar to the blue wilds in Regal Riches), while the sapphire, emerald and ruby wilds are awarded when the corresponding free games is triggered. Unlike Regal Riches, these are not MHBs and the wilds are not guaranteed to actually land on the reels (they are just added to the reel strip, so you have a greater chance of landing more wilds).

There is also a free games scatter meter that increments by one every time a bonus scatter symbol lands on the reels. The scatter meter is guaranteed to trigger by the time it reaches 777. Triggering it will award the mystery free games feature, which will randomly award either the sapphire, emerald or ruby free games.

In Joe Blow Diamonds and Joe Blow Gold, players collect sticks of dynamite above the reels. Once three sticks of dynamite are collected above a reel, that reel will turn wild for the next three spins. During those three spins, if another reel collects three sticks of dynamite, all of the wild reels will reset back to three spins.

Knock Knock Guardians features two bonuses—the Symbol Change Bonus (represented by the cat on the left) and the Reel Grow Bonus (represented by the cat on the right). Each bonus has three upgrade levels, starting at level one and maxing out at level three:

Symbol Change Bonus

• Level 1) All occurrences of one symbol are upgraded to the premium symbol during the bonus.

• Level 2) All occurrences of two symbols are upgraded to the premium symbol during the bonus.

During the base game, landing a white orb can upgrade or trigger the Symbol Change Bonus (left cat), while landing a black orb can upgrade or trigger the Reel Grow Bonus (right cat). Both cats can be triggered at once when both a white orb and a black orb land.

When a bonus is triggered, the player spins a wheel featuring four progressive free spins meters (red, green, blue and purple) to determine how many spins they get in the bonus.

Life of Luxury Hot Diamonds features three progressive free games meters represented by a car, a boat and a plane. The number of free games increases whenever a car, boat or plane symbol lands on the reels. These aren’t must-hit-bys, so it is completely random when the progressives actually hit. Therefore, Life of Luxury Hot Diamonds is an extremely dangerous and volatile game that only experienced APs with large bankrolls should play.

Lucky Coin Link: Asian Dreaming / Atlantica features a coin holder below each of the five reels. During each spin, coins may randomly land in the coin holder. After all five coin holders are filled with a coin, the game enters a re-spin feature. The highest bet level resets with three coins already collected, the second highest bet level resets with two coins already collected, the third highest bet level resets with one coin collected and the lowest bet level resets without any coins collected.

Lucky Empress and its sister game, Inca Empress, feature persistent multipliers that stick to the left side of the rows. The multipliers first appear as tiles (diamond-shaped on Lucky Empress and circular on Inca Empress) with question marks on them. The tiles first land on the reels and then move onto the tile placeholders to the left.

Once three tiles are collected, the question marks reveal multipliers that are either 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x or 12x. The bottom multiplier then moves onto the reel and becomes active. It will say “10X NEXT PAY” directly on the left side of the row when a 10x multiplier is active.

The multiplier will stay active until a line hit beginning with that row triggers it causing it to disappear. Then the next multiplier behind it will move onto the reel and become activated. If more tiles are collected on that row while a multiplier is already active, it will add the new multiplier to the upcoming queue (with the multiplier already revealed rather than a question mark).

Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 4 Link and its companion, Super Sally’s Shrimpmania 4 Link, feature Loot Awards above reels two, three and four. The Loot Awards are activated when two coins are collected in that reel.

Lucky Pick features a board above the reels with 21 picks that are covered up. Landing a Lucky Pick symbol on the reels lets the player reveal one of the picks on the board. The picks are either credit prizes (which are awarded immediately) or upgrades that are activated during the free games bonus. The free games bonus is triggered by landing three bonus scatter symbols. After the free games bonus ends, the board is reset and three non-credit picks are revealed.

Lucky Pick is the most lucrative AP game to come out in years—it seems almost too good to be true. You can get absolutely massive wins on small bets. And most APs don’t know how to play the game properly, so it is common to find plays. I was actually hesitant to publish this strategy guide since I’m making such a killing on it, but I want to be transparent and share everything I know with members here.

Just to give a warning: this is a complex strategy guide that will require hours of study and memorization to learn properly. I give a basic strategy for inexperienced players, but the real money is in the advanced strategy. Most APs don’t know the advanced method, so you will have a huge leg up on the competition if you put in the time and effort to learn it.

In Lunar Disc and Fortune Disc, players accumulate discs that land on the reels. Once six discs are collected, the game enters a bonus feature that selects a random symbol on the screen and then turns all instances of that symbol wild.

Magic of the Nile features three obelisks above the reels. Each obelisk has three segments. Landing a special scarab symbol will fill in one of the segments. Once an obelisk has three segments filled, it will trigger a bonus feature.

In Magic Treasures, players collect Money Balls on the reels that accumulate in a counter displayed on the green bowl. The Money Balls Bonus feature can be randomly triggered any time a Money Ball symbol appears. During the feature, the collected Money Balls fly down onto the reels and the credit prizes are awarded. The counter then resets back to five.

Ocean Magic Grand features wild bubbles that move up one row every spin. If a wild bubble lands on top of an Ocean Magic symbol, all of the surrounding symbols will turn wild.

Phoenix Link has a hold & spin feature that is triggered by accumulating phoenix symbols. The phoenix symbols counter resets to a random value between 100 and 1500, and must hit before it reaches 1888.

Pinwheel Prizes features five pinwheels above the reels—green, blue, purple, orange and red. Each pinwheel has eight wedges that contain either credit prizes or credit prizes with free spins (the golden wedges). Landing a pinwheel scatter symbol will increase the credit value on one of the wedges of the corresponding color and can also randomly upgrade one of the wedges to a golden wedge (so it will now include free spins). If three pinwheel scatter symbols of the same color land, it will trigger a spin of the corresponding pinwheel, where the player will win one of the prize wedges. After a wedge is won, it resets back to its default state.

Power Push features a tray above the reels that holds coins and prizes. When coin symbols land on the reels, they move into stacks of coins at the back of the tray. Any time a coin is added to a stack, there is a chance the push bonus will be triggered. During the push bonus, the stacks of coins get pushed forward, sliding the coins and prizes off the tray, where they are then awarded. Each stack holds 25 coins and the push bonus is guaranteed to trigger after 12 full stacks (300 coins).

Prize Pool: Cactus Cash / Fierce Dragon features colored blocks with credit values in them located above the reels. The blocks correspond to the matching positions on the reels below. For example, the block in the top left matches up with the top position of the first reel. When four or more Prize Pool scatter symbols land, the player is awarded the credit values on the corresponding blocks above.

Raise the Sails and its companion, San Xing Riches, feature three progressive free games meters—bronze, silver and gold. When a bronze, silver or gold symbol lands, it increases the corresponding free games meter. The free games are triggered when a collect symbol lands in the fifth reel, along with one of the bronze, silver or gold symbols. These aren’t must-hit-bys, so it is completely random when the progressives actually hit. Therefore, this is an extremely volatile game.

Red Silk and its companion, Aztec Chief, feature coin holders above each of the reels. When two coins are collected to fill the coin holder, that reel will turn wild for the next two spins.

In Regal Link, players accrue wilds in five free games meters: amber (starts at 30 and hits by 50), sapphire (starts at 40 and hits by 60), amethyst (starts at 50 and hits by 75), emerald (starts at 75 and hits by 100) and diamond (starts at 175 and hits by 200). In addition to the free games wilds, there are also silver wilds that are awarded randomly during the base game.

Regal Riches and its companion, Prosperity Pearl, have a MHB progressive wilds feature where wilds are accumulated and then awarded before they reach a certain number.

The blue wilds feature occurs during the base game. Blue wild symbols are collected on the counter directly above the middle reel. The blue wilds reset to five and must hit by 50. It becomes more likely to hit as the number increases—it’s rare to find it above 12 and the highest I have ever seen is 22.

The purple (minor), green (major) and yellow (mega) wilds are awarded during a ten free games feature. The free games feature can be triggered randomly, but it is guaranteed to hit by the MHB number, which is 75 for purple, 100 for green and 125 for yellow.

Rich Little Piggies features three progressive free games features—a blue pig featuring an increasing number of free games, a yellow pig featuring a chance to win the jackpot prizes and a red pig featuring either guaranteed wilds (Hog Wild version) or a feature where the lowest paying symbols are removed from the reels (Meal Ticket version). Players land blue, yellow and red coins that build up the features on the corresponding pigs. The pigs get fatter and fatter as the features build up. The progressive features are triggered randomly and are not must-hit-bys.

Rich Little Sheep features three sheep above the reels that upgrade a hold & spin feature. The left sheep adds “head start” spins, which are extra spins that initiate at the start of the feature (before the traditional hold & spin mechanic that starts with three spins and resets to three after a prize lands). The middle sheep increases the value of the jackpots that can be won during the feature. The right sheep adds extra rows to the hold & spin grid. Colored coins that correspond to the three sheep can land on the reels and upgrade the features or trigger the hold & spin with either one, two or three of the sheep activated.

Rocket Rumble features four must-hit-by progressive free games meters—blue resets to 8 and hits by 15, green resets to 10 and hits by 20, purple resets to 20 and hits by 35, and red resets to 50 and hits by 100.

Stack Up Pays features five must-hit-by progressive free games meters. Rather than increasing the number of free games, each meter builds up the number of reel expansions that occur, which increases the ways to win on each of the ten free games. The mega (red) resets to 250 and hits by 350; the grand (orange) resets to 200 and hits by 250; the major (purple) resets to 150 and hits by 200; the minor (green) resets to 100 and hits by 150; and the mini (blue) resets to 75 and hits by 125.

Sumo Kitty and its companion, Lucha Kitty, feature persistent gold frames that lock in place. When a coin symbol containing a credit amount lands in a gold frame, that credit amount will transfer to all connected gold frames and the player will be awarded the total. The frames will then disappear on the next spin.

Super Bowl Jackpots features a 2-Minute Drill that activates on the entire bank of machines every 22, 24 or 26 minutes. When the 2-Minute Drill feature is activated, the screen will display a large red timer that counts down from two minutes. During the feature, all credit prizes that land get added together and moved to a holding area with four spots above the reels. If credit prizes land on four consecutive spins (filling the four spots above), the player is awarded all of the collected prizes. If a spin occurs without any credit prizes landing, all of the prizes get cleared out. The entire 2-Minute Drill itself is not +EV, but the collected prizes persist after the feature ends, which can put the game in a temporary state of +EV.

Temple Falls features a 5x7 grid of coins above the reels that can be awarded during a coin collect feature. During the coin collect feature, a coin on the bottom row can randomly drop down and get awarded. The coins in the stack above the coin that got awarded shift down one level, with a new coin replacing it at the top. The coins range in size from 0.625x up to 200x. Coins worth at least 12.5x have a red background. There are also wheel coins that award a spin of the jackpot wheel. It can take multiple coin collect features to win a coin, but all coins on the grid will eventually be awarded.

In Top Up Fortunes, landing a volcano/trident symbol in a reel will expand the height of that reel for the next three spins. The reels begin at three symbols tall and can reach a maximum height of six symbols tall. After three spins, the reel will drop back down one level (the green squares in the top left of the reel indicate how many spins remain at that height).

Having taller reels offers several advantages—better line hits, more chances to trigger the free games bonus and more chances to land the six scatter symbols needed to trigger the hold & spin feature. Additionally, landing another volcano/trident symbol on a max height reel will trigger the Add Wild feature, which adds random wilds to the reels.

Treasure Box features a respin bonus that you trigger by landing six coins at once on the reels. Each time a key symbol is collected on the middle reel, the number of coins needed to trigger the bonus is reduced by one. If you land a key symbol with only one coin needed, then the bonus is automatically triggered.

In Treasure Hunter, players collect pearls underneath the four jackpots displayed above the reels (major, maxi, minor and mini). Once three pearls are collected, the corresponding jackpot is awarded.

Treasure Shot features wilds that accumulate on the treasure chests and bags above the reels. The wilds in the blue and red bags can trigger randomly during the base game and are guaranteed to hit on the next spin once ten are collected in a bag. The blue, green and purple treasure chest wilds are awarded during a ten free games feature. The free games feature can be triggered randomly, but it is guaranteed to hit by the MHB number, which is 100 for blue and 75 for both green and purple.

Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls features fireballs with credit prizes that land on the reels. When a fireball lands, a counter with three spins will appear on the bottom of the reel. Every time a new fireball lands in that reel, the spin counter gets reset to three. If the entire reel gets filled with fireballs before the spin counter reaches zero, the player is awarded all of the credit prizes in that reel. Filling a reel that contains the special Fire Link Feature fireball will trigger a bonus feature.

Ultra Rush Gold features a bonus that is triggered when six scatter symbols land. When a gold scatter symbol lands, it locks for three additional spins. Every time another gold scatter symbol lands, the spin count is reset back to three, giving the player more chances to accumulate the six scatter symbols needed for the bonus.

Voodoo Jackpots features two progressive free games meters—green and purple. Both meters start at 6 free games and are capped at 20 free games. The voodoo doll character can randomly appear in the center square. When he appears, he will award all prizes that landed on that spin and has a chance of increasing the free games meters or triggering them.

Wheel of Fortune 4D features dollar symbol holders above each of the reels. When two dollar symbols are collected to fill the holder, that reel will turn wild for the next two spins.

Wheel of Fortune 4D Collector’s Edition features a credit prize above each reel that increases in value whenever coin symbols land in that reel. When a Collect symbol lands in a reel, the player is awarded the prize above.

Wheel of Fortune High Roller features reels that expand in height whenever a High Roller symbol lands. The reels begin at three symbols tall and can reach a maximum height of eight symbols. When a High Roller symbol lands on a reel that is eight symbols tall, the wheel spin award above that reel is triggered. The wheel spin awards are either multi-pointer wheels, multiplier wheels or question mark wheels (which feature between two and five pointers combined with a multiplier between 2x and 5x).

Wizard of Oz: Follow the Yellow Brick Road features three progressive free games meters—silver, gold and emerald. When the red shoes symbol lands in the fifth reel, it increases one of the free games meters. These aren’t must-hit-bys, so it is completely random when the progressives actually hit. Therefore, this is an extremely volatile game.

Wolf Peak and its clones, Cat Peak and Fu Ren Wu, feature expanding wilds that stay around for four spins. The expanding wilds have a yellow background with orange text that says “WILD.”  There will be a chevron arrow that points either up or down, indicating which direction the wild will expand. After the wilds fully expand to cover the reel, they will disappear on the next spin.

Wolf Run Eclipse and its sister title, Cats Wild Serengeti, feature four progressive free games meters—mini, minor, major and mega. The number of free games increases whenever one of the corresponding free games bonus symbols lands in the fourth reel. These aren’t must-hit-bys, so it is completely random when the free games actually hit. Therefore, Wolf Run Eclipse is a volatile game that only experienced APs with large bankrolls should play.

Wonder 4 Collection is a machine where you can play four games at the same time in separate windows (Buffalo, Wild Panther, Pompeii or Fire Light). Each of the four games has its own progressive free games meter—Super Free Games Collection (blue) or Free Games Collection (red). You can choose to play any combination of the four games, but for advantage purposes, you will select all four of the same game (whichever one has the best numbers).

The meter on the blue and red free games increases whenever a corresponding blue or red jewel symbol lands in the fifth reel in any of the four windows. Getting a line hit with three or more blue or red collection symbols in the same window will trigger the corresponding free games feature. The red free games plays in a single window, while the blue free games plays in four windows. So you are essentially getting four times the number of free games with blue.

Wu Dragon and its companion, Star Goddess, feature persistent frames that lock onto the reels. One or more fireballs will occasionally shoot down from the upper right. If a fireball hits inside a frame, it will turn that frame wild, as well as all adjacent symbols. All other frames (located anywhere on the screen) will then also turn wild.

Wu Jin Pen features a bowl at the top of the screen with a spin counter on it. The spin counter starts at five and has a chance of incrementing by one whenever coin symbols land on the reels. A hold & spin feature can randomly be triggered, with the number in the spin counter being the number of spins you get in the feature. Zodiac Lion and its lesser-known clone, Zodiac Dragon, feature persistent gold frames that lock on the reels. Landing a lion head symbol (or dragon head in Zodiac Dragon) creates the initial gold frame. Then, when another lion head symbol lands within any gold frame, all connecting gold frames will turn wild. The gold frames will then disappear on the next spin.
