Dancing Drums: Golden Drums Advantage Play Strategy

In Dancing Drums: Golden Drums, landing a drum symbol with “+1” on it increments the multiplier displayed above the first reel (and directly on the bet pad). If a drum symbol (or a wild symbol, which counts as a drum symbol) lands in each of the first two reels, the Golden Respin feature is triggered.

During the Golden Respin feature, reels three, four and five randomly expand in height by up to three rows. If a drum symbol (or wild symbol) with a credit prize on it lands in a reel, that reel will lock in place and the other reels without credit prizes will spin again. All credit prizes get awarded at the end of the feature, and the credit prizes on the glowing green drums get multiplied by the multiplier. If no glowing green drums land, the multiplier will persist until the next Golden Respin feature. Otherwise, it will get reset back to x2.

The above probably sounds confusing, but you will quickly get the hang of it once you start playing.

• The free games bonus gets triggered when a drum symbol (or wild symbol, which counts as a drum symbol) lands in the first three reels. So you will trigger it during the Golden Respin feature any time you land a credit prize in the third (middle) reel. The multiplier carries over into the bonus, so entering the bonus with a built-up multiplier offers a huge advantage. Your biggest wins will come from hitting the free games in the Golden Respin feature.

• The drain in the base game is brutal. Expect to get dead spin after dead spin and then the occasional line hit that pays just a fraction of your bet. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though, because it indicates more of the game’s payback goes toward the bonus features where there is an advantage.

• The maximum value the multiplier can reach is x8.

• Ignore the coins accumulating in the bowl above the reels—they do not indicate how close you are to triggering any of the features.

• The machine has two separate games on it—the original Dancing Drums and the newer Golden Drums. Only the Golden Drums version has the persistent multipliers.
