Wheel of Fortune 4D features dollar symbol holders above each of the reels. When two dollar symbols are collected to fill the holder, that reel will turn wild for the next two spins.

• Many inexperienced APs will play this just like Golden Egypt, meaning they play when there are at least two dollar symbols in the first three reels. Other APs play when there is one dollar symbol in each of the first three reels. Neither of these scenarios are +EV. Compared to Golden Egypt, Wheel of Fortune 4D has more of the game’s payout spread across the wheel bonus (which triggers very frequently) and massive wide-area progressive jackpot. Therefore, the line hits with the wilds just aren’t as lucrative. I’ve logged hundreds of sessions and have good data confirming this. Other experienced APs I am friends with have reached the same conclusion.

• These machines tend to get a lot of action in casinos, so it’s actually very common to find left-behind active wilds.

• The wheel bonus happens very frequently in the game, and as such, the payout is usually not spectacular.
